What is Hydrocele?
A hydrocele is a type of swelling in the scrotum that occurs when fluid builds up in the thin covering that surrounds a testicle. Hydrocele is common in new born and usually goes away without treatment by the age of one year. Adult men can develop a hydrocele due to swelling or injury in the scrotum. A hydrocele is not usually painful or harmful or sometime may not require any treatment.
